THIS UNIQUE CONVERSION CONJURES MANHATTAN-STYLE LOFT LIVING WITH TOWN CENTRE SECLUSION & OFF-STREET PARKING
A remarkable apartment occupying a desirable town centre position having undergone a skilled and extensive remodelling by the landlord in 2019 that is reminiscent of warehouse conversions inspired by downtown New York and London Shad Thames to create a cool, contemporary home of today. Of particular note is the spacious bedroom accommodation with fitted wardrobes and en-suite shower rooms; magnificent open-plan vaulted living space, engineering dramatic areas of volume and awash with natural light; stylish bespoke handcrafted kitchen with full range of appliances including a four door American fridge/freezer and useful large separate utility / laundry room. There is attention to detail throughout having been thoroughly refurbished and with the tenants’ optimum use in mind.
A smart private residence lobby with exposed red brickwork and secure audio entry phone systems. There is also an allocated parking space that comes with the apartment (additional parking available on request) and a bicycle lock-up rack. The award-winning ancient Abbey Gardens are a short walk away.
The Warehouse is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the historic Cathedral town of Bury St. Edmunds and provides excellent A14 access from Southgate Street. The bars, restaurants and boutique shopping are all nearby. Refer to our Situation page to discover more about Suffolk.
The Warehouse is an architectural curiosity, formerly the site of St. Botolph’s Chapel as recorded in Warren’s maps of Bury in 1747 and then a school in the C19th of which the bell tower remains in situ. In more recent years, an architect’s offices occupied the commercial premises prior to its conversion and remodelling to a high standard residential complex. The versatile, well-appointed and fantastically arranged accommodation measures approximately 1137 ft2 (105.6 m2) that will suit a broad range of tenants, whether visiting USAF or professional tenants – all who seek the ultimate in loft living, close to the town centre and with off-street parking.
